Colnbrook School is a special school, and needed a sensory play area for their pupils with a variety of needs
Integrating SuDS (sustainable drainage systems) and food growing sites was central to the scheme.
The planting was completed by residents and school children with ongoing gardening sessions delivered by Groundwork’s community gardeners.
The challenge was to create an exciting new space that respected the existing heritage of the site, while meeting the varied needs of a modern community church.
After working alongside our landscape architects plans evolved into a new pocket park and incorporating (SuDS)
