Reconfigured and upgraded the external spaces to two high-rise blocks of flats
Our homes are so important to our quality of life. At Groundwork we regularly see how improvements to open spaces on housing estates can bring people together and transform housing into a community. In consultation with residents, we co-design play spaces for all ages, community gardens, food growing areas and peaceful green spaces to simply relax in.
We work with Local Authorities and Housing Associations throughout the UK, involving residents from the very start of the design process. What makes Groundwork different is that we don’t just walk away when the contractor has left, very often we support residents to set up gardening clubs with on-going guidance from our expert.
