On the 31st August the landscape team took part in the first consultation event as part of the ‘Doncaster Future Parks’ programme at the East Lane Park Gala in Stainforth. The day was well attended and the feedback for the first park masterplan was overwhelmingly positive. It was the perfect sunny day to gather the community’s thoughts and comments on the ideas board.
The landscape team have secured a new contract with Doncaster Council on the delivery of 10 parks identified for improvement. Doncaster Future Parks (DFP) is funded through the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot (LDP) and is part of the wider Get Doncaster Moving Programme (GDM).
